Users can download Office 2016 for Mac, Office 2013 Professional Plus for PC, Office for iPad and Office Mobile for Android and iPhone. The Division of Information Technology has also created a guide with instructions for Macs.ĭownloading Office through Office 365 allows students and West Campus faculty and staff to install the software on up to five machines and five tablets at no additional cost. Just log into Office 365 using your Stony Brook email, go to Office 365 Settings, and follow the installation instructions. I purchased Office 2008 for Mac from the Apple store at the end of August and as part of the Technology Guarantee, Im eligible for a free upgrade to Office.
